Eden Platform chosen by Permadoor
Upton-upon-Severn, UK - Permadoor, the UK's biggest manufacturer of composite doors, has chosen the Eden business process management (BPM) platform from Datadialogs.
With thousands of permutations of parts such as knockers, letter boxes and glass, processing orders for Permadoor's bespoke doors and frames is extremely complicated. Eden will allow it to improve the efficiency and speed of estimating and sales processing, thus improving accuracy, reducing turnaround time and cutting costs. With its business based on volume orders from customers such as local authorities, this will enable the company to stay competitive.
Permadoor is successful and growing rapidly, with a recent £2 million investment in a factory expansion, and is aiming to double its current annual production by 2009. It decided that its current computer system was not flexible enough to support this growth.
"We needed to reduce manual intervention in order processing and the inevitable level of errors, cut turnaround time, and increase the volume of sales we can handle to support our planned growth," said Graham Ringrose, ICT Manager at Permadoor. "Eden's flexibility will enable us to meet these goals, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction."
