Business Development ExecutiveTo develop and maintain effective relationships with identified prospects from initial contact right through the sales cycle and beyond to ensure the business has a strong and long lasting relationship with its clients. The relationship with prospects will involve regular contact to establish an awareness of Datadialogs where none exists and then involve identifying a customer need to which Datadialogs has a matched solution.
By developing effective relationships with prospects the Business Development Executive will develop a detailed knowledge of the issues that their prospect/customer base face and how Datadialogs can assist. Through these activities, and competent use of the CRM system each individual team member will build a pipeline that will deliver qualified appointments that will lead to future sales for the company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- As directed or as part of campaign based marketing projects contact prospects/customers and promote Datadialogs products.
- Maintain contact with prospects and customers on a regular basis
- Book high quality appointments with Prospects/Customers that will lead to future sales
- Develop individual knowledge and keep the company up to date with market trends and competition awareness.
- Build good relationships with Account Managers
- Build and maintain good relationships with Datadialogs customers that promote trust and loyalty
- Ensure appointments and are set in Account Managers' diaries ensuring effective use of their time and being mindful of geographic opportunities/restrictions.
- Upon setting an appointment, be responsible for setting and agreeing an agenda with the contact, then informing and fully briefing the Account Manager.
- Liaise with Account Managers to obtain appointment feedback, and appropriately document this feedback.
- Maintain integrity of CRM and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
- Participate in definitions of marketing campaigns in your allocated markets
- Market research as and when required.
Special working conditions
- The role may warrant out of hours work to assist in research programmes
- Staggered breaks and ensuring holiday cover, may be necessary.
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 year outbound B2B telesales/telemarketing experience
- Preferably, an understanding of telecommunications and IT environments
- Working knowledge of CRM
- Professional telephone manner
- Experience dealing with multiple tasks to achieve desired result
- Experience in sourcing appointments by building up a pipeline and gaining prospect/customer knowledge.
- Experience sharing ideas, helping colleagues, and best practice working.
